Tikal was a capital of the Maya world in ancient times, and it’s easy to believe when you’re confronted with the thousands of massive pyramids, plazas, temples, and dwellings that remain today. Tikal National Park encompasses 575 square kilometres of jungle and thousands of ruined structures.

gloriarios19285 Que lugar tan asombroso y lleno de misterio, si esas pirámides y esas paredes hablaran que nos contarían. es increíble ver como este lugar se ha conservado intacto durante siglos. Me pregunto cómo los mayas sobrevivían sin haber en ese entonces tecnología ni ciencia.se dice que los mayas trataban sus enfermedades con curanderos, y que sus tratamientos eran a base de hierbas y plantas medicinales porque no existía los medicamentos que hay ahora, ni tampoco doctores etc. Me gusta mucho saber sobre las historias de cada cultura del mundo ? willem6058 The most sonderfjll and historic Temple is the tabernakel from Isreal, my living God dwells in it alive and itis atend what speaks of a kingdom that is in heaven, a tent are temlorly build to a image God show Mosss an mount sinai.... And today God cdeate a living Tempel ahere He dwells in today, The bodys of those ones who been babtise in the dead, burrial, resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ....

reesesgirl106 When I was in the Peace Corps I would go here sometimes on weekends and chill out by myself. And I saw some monkeys on a deer and sat on the top of the pyramid at twilight alone it was wonderful

adoyle7170 Let's also support the many indigenous that still live in that country and still see a bunch of these sites as holy grounds and places of sanctuary!!!!! Still a great a pic though!!!

bonnemaman31 J ai découvert Tikal dans ma jeunesse pas de lieux où dormir..des hamacs disposés dans la forêt et des gardes armés pour nous défendre des bêtes sauvages..souvenirs magnifiques ...
