Yesterday, The Princess Royal visited Bradford to open a new textile factory.
A new manufacturing facility has been created at Texfelt, with £9 million being invested to future-proof the textile industry in Yorkshire.
The company, which is family run, produces a new eco-engineered carpet underlay which uses upcycled bottles in its production.
The plant is a collaboration between Texfelt and four other machinery manufacturers and is now using modern technology in an effort to become more environmentally sustainable.
