I celebrate people having different perspectives and differing politics. This isn’t about politics. This is about the psychological torture and trauma of infants and children. Search your heart. What does it whisper? Can your non-partisan heart remain tender and loving when it reads these words? Can your tender and loving heart support these policies? And yes, for those who have asked, I would absolutely foster real people while they needed help. That’s what people in Canada offered to do for newcomers from Syria. It’s not actually an impossible thing to behave toward humans with humanity.

@kld99f I agree that when you immigrate to another country you should fallow their laws. I’m not racist but where I live their are a lot more rape charges of muslims who have migrated but don’t follow our laws because it’s okay in their country. I think people need to follow another countries laws. But I don’t think it’s okay to abuse human rights like that and if someone is immigrating, let them but just don’t fucking hurt them when they are trying to cross the boarder. I also disagree with what u said because celebrities are people too and they probably hear about this stuff just as much as we do. It’s their choice if they choose to do anything about it or not just like us citizens so that wasn’t a fair assessment. Caterina posted this because she cares.

@jess_420_heard you’re a fucking IDIOT!! The CHILDREN didn’t choose to come to another country and they damn sure didn’t choose to be detained!! They are Bri g basically starved, very little food and water, no health care, no love and nurturing and they are very small children who need that to survive, thrive. You’re trash. This is AMERICAN soil that this is happening on. To BABIES! Wtf does it matter how they got here, who brought them here? They are here and the American government has them as prisoners. Babies being punished, like a 3rd world prisoner, for crimes they had no knowledge of, no way to comprehend.

@charlottefc11 you guys didn’t understand the context of my message. Everyone is so sad that kids are being separated from their parents, while in this country we have kids that are being separated as well, when their parent goes off to war, if they are killed in the line of duty, if they have a parent that is any other type first responder. Do you all care as passionately about those kids? Or the youth homeless population? Homeless veterans? Because the people of our country should come first. Especially the Veterans.

@daddy.crusty.socks Unreal. Please stop responding these ridiculous things to everyone. You are completely overlooking the child abuse going on in one of the most disgusting places. I’m not saying that because I’m Canadian, I’m saying that because it’s a fact. If it was that easy to get into America this wouldn’t be an issue. People aren’t ILLEGAL, you are so incredibly lucky to be born where you where. Stop spreading ignorance.

@allwaze_mj my bad. Asylum is not illegal to an EXTENT. but say if someone came over here claiming that they are seeking asylum, but they really came over here to do something illegal and they had kids. They would be arrested or deported and their children would be separated because the parent would have decided to do something illegal in this country. But yes I agree that if you really are seeking asylum then it’s perfectly ok

@charlottefc11 the children of those who go off to war or those who are first responders or killed in the line of duty aren’t then locked in cages and denied their basic needs. They aren’t dried food, water, and medical care. The country has programs in place to provide for those children! You know that, right? Comparing the two makes no sense at all. You really need to educate yourself on these things before you speak on them.
