I'll never forget this. In 1999, I took working class women, struggling with breast cancer, to Canada to buy the same medication for 1/10th of the price they were paying in the US. Later this month we're going back to Canada with diabetics. Insulin costs over $300 in the US. In Canada, the same exact drug costs about $30. We can't wait for drug companies to lower prices. Americans need relief now!

And American Pharmacist need jobs! All profit is going to PBM’s and not to the pharmacies. This means fewer pharmacies, longer wait times, increased mistakes and decreased communication with patients. Get rid of PBM’s and do something about price fixing. Medicare for all!

Every other Country has better healthcare with good doctors No waiting lines like they want you to think drug companies in America own the doctors and make it impossible for drug coverage and healthcare.

The only way we'll have change is if we all stand together as a generation. We need to stop seeing the differences between skin color and doctrines, and instead fight for equality and fairness for all.

I agree!! The medication I need costs $300,000/year thanks to Vertex Pharmaceuticals and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation selling out to them. I sure hope we can start to value human lives over money.

How do right wing people spin this particular issue to make it sound as though such normalcy is unfeasible in US?

Can you just take your prescription into a Canadian pharmacy and pay cash? Asking for a friend...
