I can’t express how much fun Ky and I had @grandcanyonwest ! #hualapairiverrunners is something we will never forget. . One woman on our boat started panicking bad as we took off. She was from Sweden and was only doing this for her son & husband. Their first time in the US. She tried calming herself down but after 2 big rapids she wanted to go back. Her son and husband would have to go back with her as well. The driver and the rest of the boat told her we would take it easy and if she could make it just a few more minutes, we could rest for a while and coast on by. Kyler was ok with that because he thought it was going a little too fast. Long story short, the woman who was hyperventilating 5 minutes in, finished the whole ride. Crazy rapids and all ! And we all hugged and she said she was so happy she stayed and it wasn’t that bad! And at the end, Kyler even asked if we could go back and try the huge rapids again but at full speed. . I will never forget everyone we met and having one of the best times ever with Ky. . No wifi. Just nature. With a picnic on the boat and a helicopter ride home. . I HIGHLY recommend Grand Canyon West adventures for all ages !
