Photo by Charlie Hamilton James @chamiltonjames | An adult male puma stalks a trail in Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula a couple days ago. Pumas range from Canada to the tip of South America. Some live in the freezing forests of the north, others like this one live in hot, humid tropical rainforests. This puma shares these forests with smaller ocelots and larger jaguars. All are exceptional ambush hunters. On assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック working with @osaconservation

@chamiltonjames Wow, this honestly stopped me in my tracks (no pun intended) as I scrolled through my Instagram feed. Hauntingly beautiful. Mesmerizing. Those eyes send a chill right through me. What an amazing accomplishment to have captured this majestic creature so vividly that you have people doubting its authenticity. Well done.

How beautiful! I'm glad you explained how you got the picture. I saw a small one walk by my house in Winter Garden, Florida. On the other side of our backyard was a path through a nature preserve, and it just breezed on by. No one believed me. Lol

Yeah 100% fakery...C'mon now, the leaf it's stepping on isn't even disturbed...not even a half decent editing job lol
