Hippos are no strangers to conflict, and their massive size, huge incisors, and high levels of aggression make them an unlikely prey candidate for any predator—even crocodiles that share the water with them. Lions might try their luck, but most will leave them to fight their own battles. And perhaps they may get the spoils when a particularly ferocious battle between hippos ends permanently for one individual—a scenario not entirely uncommon. #thisismytrophy #fightinghippos #okavangomist #shadowboxing
