🌳This building is unique in Japan. Sitting amongst the trees on the shores of Lake Chuzenji in Nikko, its facade and interiors feature Japanese Cedar bark which has been woven like cloth. Built over 90 years ago, it once belonged to the Italian Embassy but was recently bought by the local government and restored using original blueprints. It’s open to the public as part of the Italian Embassy Villa Memorial Park.🌳
