Home to dozens of prides of lions, clans of hyenas, and packs of wild dogs, this is a remote and wild place that feels different to many similar reserves in Africa. While many national parks have you gazing over flat parts of the savannah, squinting to catch a glimpse of wildlife, in South Luangwa you're always peering through the green of the forest. Perhaps that's also why this is one of very few places where you find lions who actually climb trees.

In my early social studies lessons, we were taught that the Luangwa River is the Meandering river;Creating Ox bow lakes ,when the curves intersect at circular intersectional bends.

My son went there on a school expedition. He took many photos & videos of some wonderful wild life. So good these places still exist to protect wild life & nature. Great photo
