I had a terrible and embarrassing experience in the Temple Hills MD store on Iverson St today. I was ordering the new chicken pesto ciabatta sandwich. Excited to try the new items. I had actually already purchased food from somewhere else BUT stopped at this location once I saw the signage for the new items. The person making my sandwich preceded to add the chicken then the fresh mozzarella and began to place it in the turbo chef oven. I told him I did not want my sandwich toasted. He began to tell me that I "Had to have it toasted". I told him I did not want to and that the sandwich in the images posted all over the store isn't even toasted. He then said "it has to be toasted everything is cold" I again told him "it's my sandwich and I dont want it toasted. Its fresh mozzarella I dont want it melted and everything is already cooked" He then began to get loud and rude with me saying something to the effect of "well if you dont like it dont bring it back" and I am saying to him "I am a chef. I know food, it's my sandwich. I dont want it toasted" all of this time he is attempting to speak over me saying "I'm telling you if you dont like it dont bring it back". The person on line behind even said "Just give her the sandwich". I ended up telling him forget the sandwich and leaving. This was a POOR example of the service in your franchises. Even if for some reason the sandwich needed to be toasted there is a professional way to communicate that to patrons. However in my situation my sandwich 100% did not NEED to be toasted. The back and forth regarding my sandwich that I was paying for made the way I desired was completely uncalled for. I now don't even feel comfortable returning to that location. Which is the closest location to my home. Training needs to be provided to this location regarding the new menu items, their preparation and knowledge of the new ingredients present on the menu. I'm so unhappy I wasn't able to have the great sandwich I was about to build with all the great new items

I went to subway Eastgate in Rivervale WA yesterday to claim my free 6 inch and drink promotion as part of the new subway app download - and the lady looked like I was speaking another language (even though English is the primary language still spoken in Australia I think..) she had to “check with the manager” (even though there was a sticker half peeling off the front of the salad window thing talking about the new subway app)... she left for a bit and came back saying they’re not doing it there - “it’s not anymore” - I looked at the offer and told her it’s all subway stores valid until 3rd July - she looked at me again blankly indicating that it’s not going to happen - I felt embarrassed and I had been waiting about 10 minutes for a customer to order a whole bunch of things from just 1 staff member in store (at dinner time too i might add) - so what’s the deal? Where does it say it’s only select stores? Also the Subiaco store reckon it’s not running in their store either... if you don’t actually want to give out freebies don’t lie to us...

i think you should bring back the flatbreads and the raspberry cheese cake cookie or i will never set foot in your resteraunt again it’s the only things i likes and what made me want to come back ?

No more subway for me. Not until they change the way they treat their store owners and actually put meat on the subs. Tired of paying for vegetables and hardly any meat
