I liked the world more when we all didn’t have mobile phones. I’m writing this to you on paper right now. Here’s what a piece looks like. I guess we’re saving trees though. So we got that goin for us. (Say previous sentence in Bill Murray voice) #cutitout

Omg i LITERALLY heard YOU saying this in the Billy Murray accent before I read that you wrote to read it in it. ?? And yes, very true. Lets not having it happen that kids know how to work an iPad, yet dont know how to hold and use a pen or pencil. Also, what if At some point all electricity will break down?? Noone will know how to do things manually and THAT is a scary thought. Oh and plus, they say that ppl, who invent books or movies and their storylines must have had some sort of vision about some future things possibly going to happen...not just a random good idea. Soooo what if that is the reason behind "Terminator" (and every movie that followed in the same shoes)? I love it the movie and I love what technology brought us and what we are able to do bc of it. BUT we should definitely keep the manual stuff up, just to be sure..and to not let the cyberspace take over some day. Ok, enough talk ? much love?

@emmylou89891 I am sorry to hear they stopped teaching penmanship ten years ago. I learned cursive handwriting when I was in third grade and from fourth grade onward, we were never required to use cursive. We just printed everything. I personally chose to continue cursive handwriting and I am glad I did. It's a faster way to write than printing. I also have wondered about how kids are expected to sign their names on legal documents and checks if everything is electronic. I would love to see penmanship back in schools.

@emmylou89891 Penmanship has been removed from schools where you live? That is sad. I hope they do not do that in schools where I live. One of these days, people will not know how to write or do anything else for themselves because technology has taken over. I also have that same thought about what if technology fails at a time when it is being used as a business or educational tool? Technology is not always reliable and I think many people forget that.

@seneca_creek_crafts they took out penmanship in schools here. They don’t even teach printing. If parents want their kids to be able to print or write their name, they have to teach them at home. Pretty sad electronic devices are taking over this whole new generation. What happens if they are typing up a report and the device fails and no quick access to finish typing it up. They sure wouldn’t know how to print it by hand. It’s really sad

I agree, I feel like mobile phones and all of this social media is to addicting, I may be 13.....and most 13 year olds (not all) are so caught up in their phone they never experience the real world. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if we didn’t have any phones, iPads, and computers.....like I love writing in paper, I love reading books, I just wish people nowadays would see there is more to like than a smartphone.....
