6/21/19 also Day 3 paris trip. We had a little time between Kris’ Berlutti showing and CDG and I had been wanting to wear these HAAARD unreleased CDG x JORDAN 1s I got so I said fuck it and Changed. Seating couldn’t be more perfect. Sat next to one of my favourite faces Tim Blanks (we always end up talking about psychedelics so it’s laughs when we see each other despite the fact that fashion is his business and these events get pretty serious) Always a breath a fresh air. He introduced me to Ben Cobb the goat and we talked about toads milk which we all agreed we wish we had for the car rides since apparently it only last 45 mins and that’s about how long it takes to get anywhere in the city this time of year. The lights went down as the live drums cued, circular lights came center, and the first look stepped into the light. The entire showing felt like a hypnotic play. Another artful collection w a theme that connects through three seasons (thanks for the insight Nicolas). You see, I love Comme because Rei and Junya give no fucks. They along w Adrian, built a brand from their gut instincts and always put that first. IMO, Comme des Garçon’s history is a reminder to always come from an honest place and the art will find who it belongs to. And trust, we all need reminders.
