I would like to nominate my mom to hopefully receive this blessing. She is not only a wonderful mom, but a great inspiration to myself and my cousins. My mother is a single mother of two and has helped us a best she could. My mother always puts my brother and myself first. Finances have always been an issue for my parents because they had me at a young age and never really had the chance to save. The last few years In particular have been a little hard financially for my mom as my brother was in and out of hospitals for his depression (but he’s getting better!). Despite the financial struggle of paying for my brother’s medical bills and her student loans (she is the only of her siblings to complete college), I was fortunate to follow in my mother’s steps and have completed my first year of college??. In addition to taking care of my brother and myself, she is a Special Education teacher and has taken on the role of head coach of her school for Special Olympics. My she spends a lot of her time registering students for competitions, spending time after school to help practice, and this year was able to take two groups of students (Basketball & Softball and Track) to compete in the State Games (which was a new experience not only to my mom, but her school). I registered as a coach for Special Olympics to help out with competitions whenever I can and was fortunate enough to attend and help out with both state games. The state games were truly a new experience for everyone and I was able to truly tell how important her students are to her; they truly are her kids and she would do anything for them. I will always remember the day when a student asked her what would she do if she won the lottery and she said that she would buy all of them tickets to go to Disneyland. My mother is a prime example of someone who keeps giving and expects nothing in return. That is why I nominate my mother for this weekly blessing. ♥️

I’d like to nominate my sister and brother-in-law. My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer March of this year. She had to quit her job due to all of the appointments she has to go to several times a week. Before she started her chemo treatment my brother-in-law started working two jobs to save up as much money as he could for their living expenses. They only have one car that is literally on its last leg and they have two kids, my nephew is 9 and my niece is 4. When she started her treatment he had to miss hours to days of work in order to watch my niece, take my sister to her appointments and get back in time to pick my nephew up from school then go back to get my sister. My husband and I help out as much as we can but we also live an hour away and can’t be there all the time and for spur of the moment things that come up. With everything my sister is going through she still has a smile on her face and still puts her kids needs before hers. Even while she feels nauseous and just wants to lay down and rest, she is there playing house with my niece, a game or whatever she asks of my sister. The same goes for my nephew, but since he’s 9 and pretty self sufficient he needs less attention than my 4 yr old niece. That’s not to say she doesn’t pay attention to him because she most certainly does! The past few weeks my brother-in-law has been working double shifts at his one job. I can’t even describe just how amazed I am with both of them and what they are going through as a family. Anything helps a family in need no matter how big or small. There are so many people in need and I know God will help you select the right one to bless with your generosity. Thank you @vegaalexa and @therealcarlospena for giving back and blessing someone from your ❤️.

I’d love to nominate my friend Sheya! this girl is amazing. Her kids have the same disease mine do which is a rare and hard disease to deal with. It’s called EoE. It makes working hard and being a mom harder but she does both. This disease causes depression in some and anxiety in some which some of her kids have. One of her kids has other medical issues non related to this. On top of this this year and the end of last has been a really rough year with family members passing for them. Sheya and her husband are so special to me. Sheya gave up everything when she didn’t know me to sit in an er waiting room when my son had surgery just because I didn’t have anyone to sit with me. All she knew was my name and where I was going to be and what time. She took time off work cleared her schedule ect. Another time I was in patient with my daughter with her asthma and she brought us dinner no questions asked just showed up. Sheya’s struggling really bad right now but if I called her and asked her for a favor I know she’d be in her car or on the phone helping me. That’s who she is no matter what she has going on in her life and how bad she’s struggling. She deserves a blessing because she is literally the most amazing person I have ever met in my life and I love her so much @babysheyrae

Hello Carlos and Alexa!!!!This is my first time doing this so it’s kind of weird but never mind.I would like to nominate my awesome boyfriend! He is the most mature 16yearold I’ve ever met and I met a lot of 16yearolds(I am one myself)! He is very passionate about the things he loves and does when he loves somebody he commits to that relationship 1000% and I don’t just mean our relationship. For example, he is very close with his dad because it was just the two of them and his sister from young age.I remember two years ago, when I met his dad he wasn’t like all the other teenagers and just wanted to get that of his plate, he told me that his dad was the most important person in his life and that he really wants us to get along and that’s when I realized he is the one i really really really wanna be with.He is also gentle and kind and smart and beautiful in SO many ways.He always makes sure I’m not cold or if I buckled my seatbelt in the car or if I came home safely even though he walked me to my porch.I just wanna say that I love him with all my heart and that he is the most caring and loving person ever.(Hope it isn’t too musch?)

I want to nominate my mom or as my family calls her ‘Wonder Woman’. She is an incredible, amazing, and caring person. She has been going through some treatments and surgeries the last couple years. And even though it’s really rough on her, she is constantly pushing back.
She is always focused on helping family first and putting everything else second. For example, my cousin got married two years ago. Which was during the middle of my mom’s second round of treatments. Even when she was dead tired, somehow she created all this energy out of no where to help plan and get everything ready in time.
With everything my mom should be focusing on, I don’t expect her to be doing all these things for me or for anyone else. We all have been putting our focus on her and making her our priority but she still manages to make all of us her priority, when we should be. She is always going above and beyond of what we expect her to do. Her strength and caring nature, is what I love and admire about her most. She truly is ‘Wonder Woman’. And I cannot thank God enough for her.

@therealcarlospena @vegaalexa I nominate my mom. I want to be able to give her something she can use just for her. So she knows how beautiful and amazing she is. So she understands her worth. She does so much for us and I want to be able to do something for her. She never asks for much. She deals with so much, from my older sisters health issues (surviving thyroid cancer, having a brain tumor, having polyps upset and down her esophagus &colon &duodenum to having tumors on her feet at being blind at 24) to caring for my 92 year old great grandma to caring for all my siblings ( 6 others including me. Ages 24-8) to paying all the bills, making sure everyone is happy and "chauffeurs" us to wherever to wanna go/ need to go even with car issues, but most of all helping me and caring for me through my work related injury. Yet through all that she still continues to do so much and I just want to be able to say " this is for you mom. Thanks for all you. I appreciate and love you more than you'll ever know" thanks for the opportunity 💖
