Hi! We’re @TheShedNY, taking over the New Museum’s Instagram for #MuseumInstaSwap today! The Shed is a new arts center on the west side of Manhattan. We work with established and emerging artists to create all kinds of new work in fields ranging from hip hop to classical music, painting to digital media, theater to literature, and sculpture to dance. Did you know part of #TheShed moves? Our building consists of two parts, a stationary building and a movable shell that can create space for large productions in The McCourt or be pushed back to make an outdoor plaza for programming. –
