For those of us who live and work in cities, it’s so easy to get caught up in man-made rhythms, regardless of whether or not they serve us. But to be immersed in a flawlessly interconnected ecosystem... one which doesn’t fucking care if we earned that number, or made that call, but demands only that we BE? eprobs You should check out @naturesacred - a nonprofit based in Maryland that has provided 130 grants in the past 2 decades to bring readily accessible greenspaces to communities without the means or capacity to travel to nature destinations. Hospitals, prisons, office building rooftops, urban neighborhoods facing years of disinvestment. These Sacred Places are gardens designed through a collaborative community process that seeks to uplift the end users of these sites and engage them in stewardship of the site and their own communities.

jessicahranko Just came back from Colorado and spent some time just breathing in and out in the mountains and felt years worth of weight leave me. I highly recommend it, also my oldest said it was better than Dinsney World which made my heart so happy. ?
