メトロポリタン美術館のインスタグラム(metmuseum) - 6月18日 07時02分
What would the walls of The Met look like without the contributions of refugee artists? Today we partnered with @theirc to kick off their global campaign for #WorldRefugeeDay on Thursday, June 20. All week, we are highlighting artworks made by refugees—and considering what would be lost without them.
Now through Thursday, we are shrouding "The Lovers" by Marc Chagall, one of 1,500 refugees who were spirited out of France between 1940 and 1941 as part of a rescue effort by the organization that became the IRC.
Join us in saying "Thank you, refugees"—share a work of art by a refugee that speaks to you and tag @メトロポリタン美術館 and @theirc.
