No one likes a cheeseburger more than I do. Mmmhmm! However, it’s officially undeniable that global warming is A Thing, and livestock is a major contributor to climate change. In fact, this weekend at @brilliantmindssthlm, I learned that if cow farts were a country it’d be the third most polluting nation in the world. (Who’s hungry now?) That’s why, in honor of the 10th anniversary of Meat Free Monday, I’m having a salad for dinner tonight. 🥗 *To be clear* I’m not a vegetarian. I deffo don't have the will power to be a vegan. But I believe that small changes can have big impacts. (Besides, why is everything so absolutist nowadays? It’s, like, I can be Pro Choice and support sensible gun control—and that doesn’t mean I’m a socialist snowflake who sleeps in a Bernie Sanders T-shirt!) Anyway, I’ll still eat cheeseburgers, especially when I’m hungover. But thanks to @ポール・マッカートニー @メアリー・マッカートニー and @ステラ・マッカートニー I’m trying to be more conscious about the way I live my life. 🙋🏻‍♂️❤️🌎

meaganep_ This is great! Big believer in doing what you can, but not giving up because you can't do anything. How do you think the fashion world--which is driven by consumption,seems to include lots of air travel, and is a big polluter in production-- can make some small changes? I think it would be cool if companies sometimes opted for local models that don't have to fly to get to a shoot or or show! Plus it would highlight local talent. But you actually know that world--what small changes can the industry make?
