FOAM ROLLING 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. This is something I get HEAPS of questions about, so I filmed this video #prepregancy. It looks easy but can actually be quite tricky! I am carefully foam rolling at the moment, mostly to increase blood flow and circulation as am still on minimal exercise as recommended by my healthcare professional, while recovering.
HOW TO FOAM ROLL: Allow the foam roller to roll up and down the length of a muscle. If you find a tender spot, you can either roll over it slowly or hold until the tension slow releases.
For the ladies who ARE training regularly, I would recommend spending 2-3 minutes on each muscle as part of your active recovery.
