Today marks the 75th anniversary of D-Day, when more than 160,000 Allied troops from the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Canada invaded the Nazi-occupied beaches of Normandy, France. The operation was a turning point in World War II and played a pivotal role in the defeat of Nazi Germany. The heroism displayed on this day will never be forgotten and we are forever indebted to and grateful for our veterans' service and sacrifice.⠀
