xhelloariax Hello! I just purchased the L’Ombre dans l’Eau from MXP Milan Duty Free and unfortunately the metal part is unfixed causing a clinking sound. I don’t believe the bottles usually clink so I went to your Nolita location in New York to see if I can exchange the bottle. I described the issue and was told that I can “check all the perfumes” to see if any of them make a sound? I was also told I should have checked before purchasing, but as you know the box is sealed in plastic and I didn’t think to shake the box to check for any broken parts. I found the exchange very surprising and unpleasant since I’ve only had great experiences at this location. I was told to come back when a manager was in store, but I was wondering if the perfume can be exchanged before going back? Thank you for reading through my comment. Honestly, I think I’m just feeling a bit confused about how the whole interaction went since it’s very different from how I’ve been treated before.
