バスルームの窓
カカアコ地区に最近完成したコンドミニアム「アエオ」のバスルームに大きな窓があるお部屋があるように、景色や外からの光を取り込む窓をバスルームに取り付けるデザインが増えてきました。外光をバスルームに取り込むことで照明の電力が節電できることや、風通しがよくなることでカビの対策にもなり、小さくて狭いイメージのバスルームを大きく見せる効果も期待できます。プライバシーがないように思われるかたもいるのでこのデザインは個人の好みに関係します。新築のバスルームの場合はよいのですが、リノベーション工事で窓を加える場合は水道や電気また構造の問題にも大きくかかわることがあるので是非プロの方のアドバイスを受けて工事をすすめてください。

Bathroom Windows
As seeing an example of a master bathroom with large window in some of the units at Aeo Condominium in Kaka’ako, I often see bathroom designs with having windows that lets natural lights into the bathrooms. The design is letting natural lights into the room meanwhile reducing electricity of room lights and it also reduce the risk of mildew by having air flow into the area. It also provide an illusion of bathroom looking larger. Some may not like the design as it does not have much privacy so it is a matter of personal preference. New construction does not have much problems of having windows but for renovation projects, the design will affect to plumbing, electrical and structural issues so I would strongly recommend to have professional advices.
