My Dad has had T1D since he was 15.
As such, I’ve never been scared of needles as I’ve been around them my whole life.
He takes 1 shot in the morning and 1 shot at night, checks his blood throughout the day and regulates his blood sugar with food.
It’s never hugely affected him as he’s balances it well.
He’s 65 now and thanks to a good diet, sticking to his insulin routine and ALWAYS working out at least 3 times a week, he’s in really good shape and lives a great life.
You’re doing great Mary. Keep it up ?

You’re very inspirational! My dad has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes since 1996. The same year I was born. I’ve been praying for him each day that he beats his struggle with obesity. He’s been struggling for the past 23 years, and I always do what I can to help him out in evert way. He has been starting to improve slightly, but is not quite where he should be yet. He can be quite stubborn at times, but I believe in him!

Ik you wont respond to this, but i watched the video, and your story made me tear up, especially when you cried. Man i have never even teared up before that video. I have a dream of becoming a football player, and if i do reach it, ima set a foundation to help cure diabetes.
