I moved from art to design to fashion, trying to ‘describe’ personas - working in everything from costume design and illustration to portraiture, from fashion shoots to performance to club looks... Digital manipulation / fake news / existential guilt / edited realities / social webs / self-publishing / safe spaces / approval-seeking LIKES, fans and #trolls all have a role to play in the evolution of communicating who we are and how we are perceived. Our identity is defined at the meniscus between our projections and their perceptions. We broadcast to the #void. Our old Neighbourhoods are hosts to new Networks in the Global Village.
