Brancusi, Rodin, Picasso, Calder... My sister and I made it a goal to spend two inspiring days in Paris before flying home to Corsica. Of all the wonders, Brancusi’s work had the deepest impact on me. Maybe because it is presented as he wanted it, as it was set up precisely in his atelier - reconstituted here by Renzo Piano. .

I love seeing art on walls of course, post creation, at the moment when it’s ready to face the eyes of strangers.

But to me, the intimacy of an atelier represent these moments of rapture that we experience when we’re fully present with a task and our ego dissolves. Its not about making something pretty, it’s not about others, it’s not even about ourselves - it’s just about being there, receiving inspiration.
.
It’s accessible to anyone. .

But so wonderful to be reminded of it through the stellar work of others, sometimes!!!
