モネの空

私の好きな印象派の画家の一人「モネ」。その柔らかくも躍動的なタッチが、見る人にエネルギーをくれる。
終生、絶えず変化する光と季節の移り変わりをとらえようとしたモネ。
モネならきっと、こんな淡く優しい色で、刻々と移りゆく空を描写するのかなぁと想像しながら作ったきんとんの和菓子です。

Today’s Wagashi: Monet Sky

One of my favorite impressionist painters; Monet loved to paint the same location during the different seasons and various times of the day to experiment how light shown across the sky and other objects within his paintings.
This confectionary called Kinton mimics his painting technique and brushstrokes, allowing the viewer’s eye to “optically blend”.
Hope you can feel gorgeous sunrising sky colors changing every moment.
