Tomorrow is the last day to see “Francis Bacon and Ellen Gallagher” at the Hatton Gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Francis Bacon’s piece “Study for Portrait IV” (1956–57), one of the most iconic works in the Hatton collection, is the catalyst for this exhibition which sheds new light on the work of Francis Bacon and Ellen Gallagher.
