It was even more otherworldly in this night under bright moonlight with stars of Cassiopeia shining in the sky. Known as Naqsh-e Rustam, it is home to four cross shaped tombs of ancient Persian kings, each 22 meters high, the height of a seven-story building, cut into a cliff 60 meters high. The Achaemenid Empire dates back to about 2500 year ago.
