About 4 weeks ago, I was shopping at @target and picked up a new toy for the “kids”. They grow bored easily if the toy isn’t destroyed within 15 minutes. At encounters, people like to watch them play with toys. I had purchased this new toy previously that had some special scent that drove dogs crazy... except- they all ignored it! #failure - I didn’t have high hopes for the bright pink pig- but figured Mikhail might like it. Usually they do t seem to all like the same toy and Viktor really doesn’t play with the toys. . So we had a few folks in the encounter and I introduced the pink pig!!! Viktor ran up grabbed it and said “I am in Love!!! She is mine and mine alone”- he proceeded to engage in his wooing of his new love... until Mikhail came out and said- oh, a new toy!!! Viktor promptly and in no uncertain terms said “Mine”!!!! And this got his pink pig removed for not sharing! He proceeded to pine over his pink pig and put himself in a timeout in the corner!! Yes, this is true!!! I can’t make this crap up!!! . So to Ishy’s misfortune, she touched his pink pig - and 3 weeks later when she comes into the pink pig room- he runs after her and yells at her!!! Which is a bit shocking, since she usually beats them up, being an #American #girl and all!!! . We are currently on our second pink pig... and it appears we will need to create a #gofundme for Viktor’s supply of pink pigs from @mydogtoys - unless maybe they would like to donate some for him??? .
