It’s been one year where I have stopped purchasing and promoting fast fashion, it’s really hard in the beginning because how I grew up, I have always been so contented with commercials. I am proud of myself and where I am today right now. Learning about Thai culture has taught me to appreciate who we are, what we have and to love people around us and our planet-Earth. I have been traveling from North to South, connecting back with nature. It’s painful to see a lot of unwanted clothes end up as trashes, nevertheless we still want more and more... - The natural dyed Mudmee- Most members in Udon Thani Province are farmers who earn extra income from Mudmee indigo dye that is inheriting from our ancestors. Since in the old day, people weaved and dyed it with indigo for household use such as for wearing in rice farming work, field work, and sewing as the traditional skirt to wear to go to temple. 💙 In Thai, Indigo (Indigofera tinctoria) is called khram. The plant is widely grown along the Songkhram River that originates in Udon Thani :) And the fabric itself is from cotton, so everything is 100% natural!
