Shiseido is proud to announce the opening of our new Shiseido x #Alibaba Strategic Development Office in #Hangzhou, China, where Alibaba's headquarters are located. Signed on March 31 as part of a #JointBusiness Plan, Shiseido is the first cosmetics company in the world - as well as the Japanese company - to establish a dedicated office in partnership with Alibaba Group.

With Alibaba's #bigdata and #consumerinsights, paired with Shiseido's innovation, we plan to strengthen #productdevelopment, #brandmarketing, #EC and #CRM among other areas, to broaden our audience especially among the youth. Our two companies first co-developed products available exclusively on Alibaba's Tmall this September under the #AQUAIR brand.
