Shiseido is honored to have had the opportunity to sponsor W20 Japan 2019 at the 5th WAW!/W20, held on March 23 and 24 in Tokyo. On Day 1, our President and CEO, Masahiko Uotani, vowed to achieve at least a 40% ratio of women leaders at Shiseido domestically in Japan by 2020 via a video message. On Day 2, there was a panel discussion with Chief Creative Officer, Naomi Yamamoto, on gender equality in the workplace. At Shiseido, we will continue to strive to create a culture that fosters the empowerment of women, in order that all individual's inherent power can be expressed to the fullest.
