Don't you love spring? 🌸🌸This is the best season for strawberry treats such as this 🍓yoghurt treat paired with homemade Japanese mochi!

Made with fresh milk, CP-Meiji’s Low Fat yoghurt is so creamy and tasty, perfect for this recipe.
Recipe (makes about 4 servings)
1 x CP-Meiji’s Strawberry 🍓 Low Fat yoghurt
1 x CP-Meiji’s Low Fat yoghurt
7-8 pcs of fresh strawberries
6Tbsp matcha green tea granola
black sesame
1/8 tsp charcoal powder and a few drops of water

For mochi:
35g glutinous rice flour (shiratamako flour)
20g - 28g CP-Meiji’s Deluxe Milk
21g caster sugar
pink food color
1/4tsp matcha green tea powder

Mix glutinous rice flour with sugar in a small bowl. Add milk in parts and mix. Knead until the dough is soft and smooth.
Divide and color the dough pink and green.
Shape into the desired shapes. Here I made kitty heads (approx 7-8g each), 4 pcs of sakura 🌸 , 2 sets of mini hanami 🍡 , and using the surplus to make some paw designs.
In a pot, bring water to boil.
Gently drop the mochi balls into the water. Cook until they float on the surface for at least 1 min, before removing and placing them in ice water for about a minute, and drain.
Assemble the dessert:
Layer the base of the dessert cup with some CP-Meiji’s Low Fat yoghurt.
Add a layer of matcha green tea granola.
Halve 2pcs of the 🍓 for garnish. Cut the remaining into slices and place on top of the granola.
Scoop in the final top layer with some CP-Meiji’s 🍓 Low Fat yoghurt. Garnish with 🍓 and the Japanese mochi.
To decorate the face of the mochi cats, add sesame seeds for the nose and eyes, and use some charcoal powder mixed with water to draw on the snout and whiskers.
