As someone who has a sister with special needs, this was disgusting to read that this administration wants to cut off funding to Special Olympics! What? Of course now Trump says he “didn’t know” about cutting off the funding. But the fact that this administration would target families who have children with special needs, who RELY on these funds, is atrocious! We are better than this America!

Thank you to @theviewabc for letting us cast a spotlight on this issue. For millions of American families like mine, funding @SpecialOlympics & grants for special needs education is not theoretical. It’s about siblings, children & grandkids we love. That this Administration could be so mean as to have entertained cutting off funding, is DEPLORABLE.
