Numero TOKYOさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Numero TOKYOInstagram)「#Repost @kiyoai413 with @get_repost ・・・未踏の荒野が広がるケニアのサンブルで私たちが体験したのがキャンプ生活！前半はKer & Downey Campにて、後半はElephant Watch Campにて宿泊しました。他では決して味わうことができない野生動物との触れ合いができるエコ・ラグジュアリーなキャンプ。ベッドルーム、シャワー、トイレで構成されたゆったりとしたテントで、すぐそばまで野生動物が挨拶にきてくれました。お水やシャワーは、サンブルの方たちが私たちのためにバケツに用意してくれて、お水を使う量も限られています。シャワーはバケツ１杯、時間にして約２分間。その時間で十分に事足りることがわかり、普段の自分の生活を反省しました。「Save The Elephants」の方たちやサンブル族との交流を通して、彼らの自然保護活動を学び、自然との共生についてさまざまな学びがある滞在となりました。※ローラさんを撮り下ろしたケニアのファッションストーリーは5月末売りのNumero TOKYOにて。そしてスペシャルムービーはNumero.jpにて同時公開予定。ティファニー「Save The Wild」コレクションの象、ライオン、サイのチャームは、売上利益の100%が「Wildlife Consevation Network」に寄付されます。 We experienced camping life in Samburu where unspoiled wildness spreads of Kenya. We first stayed at Ker & Downey Camp, then Elephant Watch Camp. Elephant Watch is the ultimate in eco-luxury and unrivalled wildlife experience. Each tent has consisting of a bedroom and changing area with private shower and toilet, anytime wild animals came to the our tent for saying hello. Water and shower are also limited. The people of Samburu prepared these in a bucket for us. Actually a bucket of water to take a shower (about 2 min) is enough for us and I reflected on my daily life. During my stay I gained facinating insights into the work of Save The Elephants and heard all about the Elephant Crisis Fund.
