If there’s a stately home to be looked round, I’m there! Today we mooched round the grounds of @blenheimpalace and it was absolutely glorious. Nothing brings me more joy than wandering round a Capability Brown designed garden and pretending I own it. My fantasy was only slightly ruined when I heard a man say, ‘No Sandra, box hedges are too much up keep!’.

If you've ever got a few days to go away somewhere nearby, try the Loire Valley in central France- it's just LOADS of beautiful castles and gardens and vineyards. I worked in one of the castles last year and fell in love with the region- you feel like you've gone back in time. 😊

My husband is from Worcester (I’m American) and we would visit his mother, I would just die over all the beautiful landscaping. I absolutely love all the stately homes over there!
