shout out to @steve.lacy ! He randomly tweeted at me a few years ago saying we should collaborate. He was right ! Sunflower is the first song ever released by VW with a feature and I’m glad it’s Steve. He told me the first song he ever learned on guitar was A-Punk which is hilarious cuz he is now way better at guitar than me. Can’t waif for you to hear his other contributions to FOTB. Because I’m kinda hoping it’s a nod to my favourite childhood sweet (fellow Brits, you know what I mean). Either way, Sunflower is going to be the soundtrack to my summer and I’m off to find my nearest retro sweet shop...

What a funny coincidence that the moment I finally decide to listen to this and Big Blue (on tidal), this pops in my feed during the second round of listens just as Sunflower is replaying for the first time. I really love it too. Great 70s vibe and just a wonderful baseline melody period.
