March Best Bet Option: Gold Coast, Australia
After one of the best swell runs in recent memory, courtesy of Cyclone Oma, the East Coast of Australia — specifically southern Queensland — likely sees fun to good surf continue for the first week of March. This won’t be at nearly the size or intensity of the Oma sessions, but head high to slightly overhead, shorter to mid-period E swell is expected for much of the next week thanks to strong high pressure in the Tasman Sea.
