Shiseido Gallery in Tokyo, Ginza is now featuring a spell-binding pottery collection by UK art, architecture and design collective ASSEMBLE. The exhibition commemorates the gallery‘s 100th anniversary, and its concept follows our first president Shinzo Fukuhara’s vision of seeking beauty and creativity in our everyday lives. The clay used in the works includes old glass and Mashiko-ware that were broken during the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, and each fragment adds to the design of each piece, to create new value and beauty. Runs until March 17.
