From #NikonAmbassador @daveblackphoto: “Sunset light on Mono Lake is beautiful, but I wanted my picture to look more unique than other Tufa images I’ve seen. With my #D4s camera mounted to a tripod I used a slow shutter speed of 30 seconds to allow enough time for the lake water to move during the exposure. The sky saturation/exposure is preserved using a 3x Graduated Neutral Density Filter.
