#TheasterGates: “Amalgam,” a new exhibition by Theaster Gates, opens tomorrow, February 20, at Palais de Tokyo in Paris!

For his first solo museum exhibition in France, Theaster Gates explores social histories of migration and interracial relations by focusing on a specific episode in the American narrative—a situation of black subjugation and the imperial domination and racial mixing that resulted from it.

Coinciding with the show, "Theaster Gates: Selected Works" is currently on view at Gagosian Paris.
