Don’t play play with this mysterious 秘製绿豆糕 cos it was awarded as the champion mid autumn pastry in 2017 by apple daily times~~ and the secret? A combination of pine nuts + cranberries + pure rice mochi + bean paste.
The size was smaller than I thought but I guess this type of pastry is meant to savour in petits. Haven’t had many to compare with but this 绿豆糕 has a lovely light texture and not overly sweet ~ ❤️?
