#FriezeArtFair: Ed Ruscha's "Sunset, Coronado" is currently on view in our booth at Frieze LA.

A part of the artist's “Metro Plots” series, "Sunset, Coronado” depicts a simplified aerial rendering of a street map in Los Angeles. The painting creates an unsettling juxtaposition between the calm and simple assurance of the map and the imminent and implied chaos of the city that exists somewhere beyond the printed page.
