I wrote the song “Life Is Better With You” the day after Valentines day, here in Bali, seven years ago. We’d had an amazing Valentine’s Day the day before, but Feb 15th wasn’t so great and we spent most of the day discussing our relationship. As the conversation grew on, we started to heal and by the end of the day, actually felt closer to each other than on the day before when we we had a “perfect” Valentine’s Day. I picked up my guitar and said, “Even my worst day with you is better than the best day I ever had before you were in my life... my life is better with you.” I started strumming the chords as we sat on the edge of the bed and BAM...7 years later there’s 3 of us (#BabyTaj).
