Visit the Giacometti Institute in Paris to see the exhibition “Alberto Giacometti/Peter Lindbergh: Saisir l’invisible” which is on view through March 24.

Lindbergh was invited to photograph bronzes and plasters by Alberto Giacometti held at the Fondation Giacometti in 2017. Lindbergh’s black-and-white photographs capture the anxiety behind the beauty that characterizes Giacometti and his perpetual search for authenticity. The photographs are accompanied by unpublished drawings by Giacometti.
