In Pond Inlet, Nunavut, Meeka’s unique parkas are in high demand amongst her community and 21 grandchildren. Since learning to sew at 18, Meeka has perfected her craft alongside her sister Rebecca, another Project Atigi seamstress. The siblings actually worked with us several years ago to create bespoke parkas for our anniversary. The women are also a driving force behind the Canada Goose Resource Centers, which equip northern seamstresses with materials. These are the women of #ProjectAtigi. #HonouringtheNorth
