One of my favorites from last year. I worked with the Kyoto based #letterpress studio @cappanstudio to create artwork for their #cotoincho souvenir notebooks. I based mine on the Golden Temple in Kyoto. Thanks to @hiri_chan for inviting me to take part in the project. Here’s a description of the project from the studio: “This project is a collaboration between international creators who greatly love Kyoto and letterpress printing-to create a "Coto in cho", a souvenir notebook expressing the charm of the ancient capital of Kyoto as seen from the world. A notebook to not only collect temple seals, but also to put down one's travel experiences and memories made in Kyoto.” I plan on using mine during my upcoming trip to Kyoto in a couple weeks! #kinkakuji
