Freda Raddi’s parka is layered with family history and tradition. It incorporates one of the most difficult techniques in traditional sewing – the Delta Braid. An intricate geometric pattern made from layers of ribbon and bias tape, it’s a technique that takes patience, precision and expertise. Freda’s mother taught her the intricacies of sewing and she continues to be an inspiration for Freda’s designs.
