Mia Mora (@mia56), left, wasn’t out at work early in her career, but she took a different approach at @Google. “Unlike with gender, or even race in many instances, you can ‘pass’—you don’t have to make an effort to disclose your sexual orientation. There’s automatically a level of judgment that’s involved,” she explains. “I have a different perspective today.
