We must use our privilege to raise awareness and help those who are silenced or don’t have access to share their stories or have lost their lives.
I put together these pictures to show the positive progress for the LGBTQ+ community in 2018 because hope can never be lost and love will always trump hate.

Here are ways you can be an ally and support the LGBTQ+ community:
Don't make assumptions about people’s sexual orientation or gender identity.
Speak out against homophobia, transphobia and anti-LGBTQ harassment and discrimination.
Speak out against the use of antigay slurs.
Be supportive of anyone who chooses to come out.
Attend LGBTQ events.
Read, learn about and discuss LGBTQ issues and the rights of LGBTQ students.
