Virginia voters elect the state's first openly transgender candidate Danica Roem to the Virginia House of Delegates. Roem becomes the first openly transgender candidate elected to a state legislature in American history 9. Attend LGBTQ events. Read, learn about and discuss LGBTQ issues and the rights of LGBTQ students.
