Hijiri Kogen’s Snow Monsters―a Winter Miracle

Hijiri Kogen sits between the Chikuma and Sai rivers and is covered in woods of Japanese larch and white birch. 

During the harsh winter months, rime covers the trees and turns them into snow monsters.

This glistening white forest is surely a winter miracle. Be sure to see wintertime’s distinctive scenery.
